Yes it does mean that your "SET" statements must be called from DE.BeforeOpenTables when using private datasessions. In the framework I use, the environment settings are part of the application object. Then the first thing I do when creating a form is type "oApp.DeBeforeOpenTables()" in the De.BeforeOpenTables method.
