Thanks Bill, we are already Fast ( 100 base T ) ethernet, and it is nice. Something has definitely changed, it seems just months ( actually about 30 months ) ago that we benchmarked Novell 4.x versus Windows NT 3.xx and Novell won in every category for speed -- startup, file transfers, downloads, indexing, etc. Now, some of the teeth appear to be missing in the gears of progress or at least not meshing well between Novell Netware Client and Microsoft's Windows 98.
