Thank you very much. I'll try this out. I've been a VFP programmer for 8+ years but I've always avoided the report writer in favor of 3rd party tools. This time I'm doing a quick/n/dirty project for my brother-in-law and i thought there must be a way to do this. thanks for teaching an old dog a new trick!
