WHOA!!! This is not necessarily the case. I've worked in several large corporations where VFP is fully accepted. The same reasons you give for smaller companies are the same reasons that large companies should use VFP. Take a look at the Jan 99 issue of Software Development magazine where they review VFP and state that VFP is the best tool in Visual Studio for developing middle tier components, especially for COM+. This goes directly to your large companies.

I don't know of a single company that wants expensive projects...they want them all to be as cost-effective as possible. Again, using your reasons, VFP wins.
