I have included the Modify Report command in my distribution
application (VFP6 or 5), which is allowed according to MS.
My reports are predefined letters which include some
code in the Init method of the dataenvironment (should not and
cannot be altered by end users).
After using Modify Report within the application everything
seems to be OK. But after closing the whole application and
restarting the application errors occur in the Init method of the
report's dataenvironment. These errors are wrong - stating
that fields do not exist which do.
Opening and saving the reports again with the development
environment "repairs" the reports.
It may be that Microsoft intended this behaviour to refuse
changes in reports that include code even if we don't want to
change this code in the end user's application.

Did anyone experience similiar problems. Is there a work
around? Thanks in advance.
