Yes, it's unfortunate, but they want only one standard medium-to-large application development tool here, and a few years ago (when the fox was at its low point) they chose PB (even VB and VC++ are not too popular). I'm happy to say that the enthusiasm for PB has waned considerably after some big problems completing projects with it :)
