Ken,
I went book hunting last weekend myself. All the books I saw that discussed accessing SQL 7, were from the VB or VC++ point of view. I kinda decided that the book that would help me the best was a book that focused on SQL 7 and then showed examples of how to use data access methods to get to the data directly, thru stored procedures or whatever.
Anyways, the book is at home and I'm not, but I believe the title is "SQL Server 7.0 for Developers". Its a black and white book from Osborne Hill. They have a series of SQL 7 books from beginning to DBA stuff.
This book talks about the parts of SQL that will help you to be a better developer.
HTH,
Perry

>Can anyone recommend a class, book, papers, etc. that are kind of a "Learning SQL Server 7 for VFP programmers" thing? In particular, it would be nice to have something that said "here's how you did it in VFP - here's how you do the same thing in SQL Server" If this doesn't exist - any recommendations on "regular" SQL Server courses or books that would make good sense to an experienced VFP developer?
