Furthermore, if you, for example, have a view as a RecordSource of the grid, and then modify your table, changing the field name in the table and in the view, - VFP will crash on the REQUERY() of that view. You can spend hours trying to figure out what is wrong with the view, but the real reason is that you forgot to change the field name in the Column.ControlSource. :)
