Anyone, please correct me if I am wrong...
SBT - Uses VFP for the LAN version, their C/S version (Executive Series) is built around PowerBuilder

AccountMate - Multi-Platform LAN, C/S (SQL, AS/400, DecAlpha)
Solid, decent package out of the box, but beware if you intend to make modifications...You don't get a sigificant amount of the source code, even though that's how it is marketed. You get the forms, reports, and some of the related procedure files with the source code, but that is it. The source code for their system functions and all of their visual classes are not available. Poor and outdated documentation. Huge learning curve. Many functions, including quite a few of the lookups, are not modifiable. You can make modifications, but changing a "system function" is no easy task. Referential integrity is almost non-existent. Post-sale tech support of any kind, other than bug corrections, is strictly billable at around $300/hr ($50 min) and thru e-mail only (i.e. unverifiable time) and 2-3 day turn around is average in my experience.

IAS Visual Advance (www.iasadvance.com) - Middle ground LAN only product. Still a little buggy, but tech support is good. Full source code available. Fair learning curve with the custom classes that are used throughout the program. No Payroll or Manufacturing/Job Costing Modules.

VFP2000 (www.thaen.com) New product. LAN only. Looks promising. The price is definitely right for the product's capabilities. Basic accounting only. No Payroll or Manufacturing/Job Costing Modules.
