I need a report to display a number of products with their image and description - simple...

I'm using VisFox 3.0b and when I use append general for a bitmap, it appends an 'iconised' view apparently using Object Packager. I have absolutely no idea why (it used to work fine about 6 months ago). Everything appears to be pointing to mspaint as the associate program for bmp files, but it doesn't want to know. If I double click on the bmp its fine and if I copy and paste into the general field its fine...

I also have 2.6 and 5.0a installed and the same thing happens in 5, but I get an OLE error in 2.6.

So here are a few questions:
1. How do I rectify my link to embed an OLE object?
2. How can I determine whether the program apparantly associated is actually there? (This happens on another machine)
3. Is there a better method available to me other than append general?
4. Can I go home now????
