Oh, Hi Pete,

I'd stick with using the Common Dialogs ActiveX control. It's been awhile since I've looked at some these functions, but as I recall, it's difficult, if not impossible to use them with VFP. For example, the GetOpenFileName function, requires a OPENFILENAME structure that includes both pointers to strings, but pointers to procedure hooks, as well as some other goodies.
