Hi Pete,

You're welcome. The easiest, quickest way AFAIC is to drop the control on a form, then look that the OLEClass property on the regular properties page. In this case, it's MSComDlg.CommonDialog.1 in VFP 6.0. After you've got that, simply delete the control. I might add that this control has been around for a long time. I first encountered it back in VB 3.0, which pre-dates VFP. I don't think that OLEClass has changed, but if you're using VFP 5.0, you might want to check just to be sure.
