Went to install NT on a PC the other day and got the message that I had to install IE, so I changed my mind and left 95 on the machine. Went to install Visual Studio 6 on another machine and got the message that I had to install IE, so I demurred.

Tried to install the new Office 2000 and it said I needed IE, so I backed off and kept using Word97.

Went to buy a new car at lunch and as I was about ready to sign the contract, the salesman said "Oh, but first here's a copy of IE you have to sign for".
