The app is created using VFP 3/ProMatrix 3. That's why I'm using the VFP Product Builder supplied with Promatrix. The NetSetup files are created on an NT WorkStation and built to install on a Windows 95 workstation. I have copied these NetSetup files onto a SyQuest cartridge which I usually install from. But last night I could not get my client's machine to regognize the SyQuest. So I created the cd from the SyQuest - copied the files for all intensive purposes. The files appear to have copied OK and my 95 workstation reads the cd but ask for "Insert Disk 1 in the E drive". My app is created on the E drive on my development NT workstation. But I don't get this error when installing from the SyQuest cartridge. I get a message to choose the drive/directory to install in.

I'm rewriting the app in VFP6 without ProMatrix but untill I get it finished I have deal with this. An associate mentioned that the difference might be that all files on the cd are created as read only. If that's creates the problem I can copy the files from the cd to the user's hard drive, change the attributes and install from there. I hope the above give you a hint as to the problem/solution.
