a) SelectOnEntry = .T. to erase the whole field on the first keystroke
b) Search for an API function to turn off/on the insert mode. Turn it off in the GetFocus() event and turn it back to it's original state in the LostFocus() event
c) Tell the user to hit the Insert key on the keyboard!
