>My department is switching from Win95 to WinNt workstation (4.0 w service pack 3). We have numerous FPW 2.6 apps. Most of them are giving us problems. One of the apps runs, however it quits with some msg like "… out of memory …", and I believe it happens when a select is done to build a cursor. The environment is fairly large size, CA Dept of Trans. The primary table has 50,000 records. When I cut the number of recs to 500, the app gets past the problem, only to fail in another location with another memory allocation problem. The workstation has 128MB of RAM. I wrote the app and am quite familiar with it. I am aware of various configuration parm with config.fpw, buffers & files in config.sys. I have searched thru the archives and found many FPW2.6 WinNt threads, but have not yet found a solution. Can anyone direct me to reference material that might help me with configuration appropriate for WinNT.

Hi Mark,
There are two different kinds of error that can occur when going to faster computer (>=333 Mhz). Patches, work arounds, and some explainations can be found at http://www.abri.com/foxpro.html.

On is labeled 'insufficient memory'. The other is divide by zero patch. Good luck.
