Maybry's FTP/x is very good. There is only one work around I needed to do. Once you start a file transfer, you cannot use the Abort command. Instead you have to place the FTP activeX control on a seperate form. Then to abort do something like an on key label with "ALT X" and release that form and then imediately run it again so that you still have access to the FTP/x control.

I asked them about a resume feature and they said it can be pretty easily implemented with their quote command. The quote command send instructions directly to the server. So if the server supports resume, it can the access this function. Not sure how it works, but their tech. support is getting back to me on it. I have had very good support from them so far.

Also, if you are looking for a great ActiveX Zip interface. I just got done doing a VFP project using DynaZip's active X control. They even have some nice gas bar controls to work with it.

>While I haven't used it, I've heard good things about Mabry's control. I'm using a version of Crescent's and it has this ability on transfers from an FTP server. I don't know about transfer to an FTP client. The thing I don't like about it is the support. In trying to run down a problem I was having in VFP, I had to convert the form to VB and duplicate there before I could get an answer out of them. When I finally solved the problem (I had to go pretty far beyond what they told me), I sent a follow up to them, explaining the what the problem had been and what had to be done to solve it. I also sent them a code sample of the solution...in VFP< rbg >
