I am sorry I didn't make myself more clear. The problem which I have is the following : it appears that SelStart is being set differently by VFP depending if a mouse click or keyboard is used. For example if you click somwhere in the edit control, SelStart is reset before KeyPress event. If you use arrows to navigate in the control, it is not reset correctly at all. I can beat with API, but I though someone with more experience with editboxes can help me out. Problems like that make people switch to other languages I guess.
