One of the requests if to have a lot of phone numbers available and the ability to assign their own descriptions so the grid seems to be the best approach there and being able to click on an empty cell to add seemed to be a reasonable approach but the more I try to bend it to fit the closer I come to folding and mutilating. Your seperate button solves the entire mess in one fell swoope. I think that I was getting caught up in trying to make something work rather than getting the job done. Thanks, Jeff
