>I can give you one right now. The company I work for has multiple branch offices across Canada and the US. There are several large tables that are maintained and updated at head office that the branch offices need to 'download' on an as need basis for use offline at job sites. What I'm hoping to be experimenting with soon is, instead of sending the tables across the wire, creating XML files from the tables, having the branch offices download them and then creating the tables on their side. What do you think? Any tips beyond your sessions greatly appreciated as well.

My best advise is to go to http://www.west-wind.com/wwthreads and go to the XML discussion area. I have a utility at http://classx.com which converts VFP cursors to XML, and Rick has enhanced it with more formal definitions which include a DTD for data types, etc.
