Typically, the owner of a web site becomes the owner of contributions. This does not mean that if you post some of your code to provide help to a question that this code becomes property of UT. To some extent, this protection is to prevent someone from setting up an alternative web site and copying threads, files, etc., to such a site. I think the key point of the copyright is the following:

The content of the Universal Thread is the property of Fournier Transformation. This material may not be used for any commercial or noncommercial application in part or in total without permission from Fournier Transformation. Use of Universal Thread material without permission will result in legal action.

The content of the Files section remains a property of Fournier Transformation but not the Files contributed. A file contributed is a property of its author. The use of a file contributed is bound by the terms and conditions of the file related documentation if applicable. If you are not sure about the terms and conditions of use of a file, or if this documentation is not present, you may contact the author.

If you wish to obtain permission of use of an article, from the Knowledge Base, other than for your own personal use, you need to contact the article author.

As you can see, files, FAQs, articles, etc., are being protected for the authors. I would not want anything I contribute here to be copied without my knowledge to another site. However, I fully intend for anything I have contributed, if useful, to be used by someone looking to resolve a particular problem including the use of code snippets.

If you have other specific concerns, please direct these to UT Owner
