It depends on what you mean by 'is it an issue?' VFP will, if left to its own devices, glom every bit of physical and virtual RAM it can. If you need to limit VFP's apparent ability to eat everything in sight when processing large tables or using ungodly large string spaces, then the use of SYS(3050) to limit it is a good idea. If your main concern is to get the VFP task in the foreground to run things as fast as possible, let it eat anything it likes. If you need to load other stuff, or have multiple VFP serssions, or especially if the NT box is acting as a network server as well as running a VFP app, then toning down VFP's appetite is a good idea.
