Michael,

As an alternate "wish" for you to think about, what about having a VFP-to-VFP capability for all SQL commands (at least), including views of course. The main objective being to pass 'recordsets' and/or SQL commands between VFPs (say clients and a VFP remote server) without conversion of any kind.

That's been my wish since VFP 3, but so far nothing. I know I'm supposed to give up if it doesn't appear within 3 releases, but the (only ever) e-mail from Mr. Green suggesting that such was being carefully considered keeps me looking out for it.

Maybe if more wanted something like this it would get some (more) attention.
