Another thing you might want to make sure to do, is to make sure you have added DODEFAULT() to any methods that have code in the parent...

Also, make sure that all methods that have code in the parent DON'T have any code... you can do this with a Reset to Default in the properties window. If the properties window says 'User Procedure' make sure there is a dodefault or code in it. If there is no code in it.. even a space will make VFP think there is.
