Hi,

If my understanding is correct, when using local views and VFP tables as backend, BEGIN TRANSACTION will actually lock the backend VFP records until an END TRANSACTION is reached.

On the other hand using remote views and SQL backend the VFP BEGIN TRANSACTION cannot lock the backend SQL records, so SQL Pass Through must be used in its place.

Is my understanding correct. If not could someone please help.
