You are going to have serious problems with a conversion. For the most part, you should forget about your FPW2.6 code base and set aside alot of time to learn alot of new things.

I know this sounds harsh, but VFP is a different animal than FPW2.6 and the quicker you dump the old way (e.g. procedural programmimg), the better. I have written some major FPW2.6 apps in the past and I wouldn't dream of anything but a complete rewrite should the need arise.

The good news is that there are alot of people here on the UT that can help.
