Memo bloat is a common thing with VFP data. The SCT, DCT, FRT, and all memo files can suffer from it. The simplest solution I have is this:

1. MAKE A BACKUP
2. USE the respective file (VCX, SCX, etc) Exclusively
3. Pack the file and memo.

That should take care of things....




>I have a problem with (MAIN.DCT) class library memo text file. It is increasing it’s size day by day although I’m not even modifying it. The library works normally and doesn’t give any problem while using it. It gives me error while I’m creating EXE file in Project. The error comes that “The memo file MAIN.VCT is missing or is Invalid.” and project does not create EXE File that time. When I exclude this class library from the project and create again the EXE file, the Project creates EXE File and also automatically includes the aforesaid class library. It should give again aforesaid error but it doesn’t do.
