A newspaper columnist has noted that it's time to start figuring out what to call the first decade of the 2000s, like we call decades the 80s or 90s now.
She suggests we call it the "Hundreds," but that doesn't seem to have a very nice ring to it. My brainstorming so far came up with "Singles" as the best-sounding idea, though it's a little short in context. Anyone else have other ideas?
