Actually, that was Sesame Street!

>So, to answer your question, yes, I think I am as good as I think I am. You better be too. I for one would not want to work with somebody who thought otherwise. It's called confidence and believing in yourself, your abilities. Those have always been recognized as good qualities, and those same qualities have served me well.

There is a difference between confidence and ego. I see confidence as trusting in your ability and knowing your abilities AND your limits.

I see ego as the same as above, adding the thought that NO ONE else is or could be as good as you are.

So, based on my definitions, Confidence is good, ego is bad. I am generally told I am very modest and much better than I think I am. Well, the truth is, I KNOW how good I am, I don't just go around telling everyone about it all the time.

(JVP and others, btw, these are just generall comments, I certainly don't know JVP well enough to have an opinion, and, you know what they say about opinions.)

BTW: I think to only judge someone by a few messages here and there is BAD too... you always remember that ONE thread, but forget the other 200 where that person was extreemly helpfull and selfless. And, I know I remember many such threads from John, and many others here.
