HI Ed -

We spoke about a month ago concerning Active Docs in which you helped me along with that process. You were right, Active Docs were not as hard as I was making them out to be. I learned how to set them up, but have a question that I hope you may have an answer for.

I implemented code ( I am not at my "work" computer, so I can't recall it exacltly)to place a form "offices.scx" into the browser. I ran the app. as an Active Doc and it worked fine. The problem came when I tried to change which form I wanted placed into the browser when the Active Doc was run.

I decided to change the offices form to the "products.scx" form. Therefore, I went to the code and replaced "offices.scx" with "products.scx", so that products was placed into the browser.

After I did that and ran the app., "offices.scx" was still placed into the browser! Not products.

I even went a step further and deleted all code in the event/method that called the form and offices.scx still appeared in the browser when I ran the app. as an Active Doc!

I had to move all the tables/views/forms to a new .dbc in order to make it work, so I could place a different form into the browser.

Is there a way I can accomplish this task w/o having to go to that extreme again?

TIA for any thoughts

Jason
