The next Montreal FoxPro User Group meeting is Monday February 24.
Steven Black presents
Designing and Building Hookable SoftwareSteven Black, born and raised in Quebec City and currently residing in Kingston Ontario, specializes in
multilingual, international, and other challenging FoxPro and Visual FoxPro projects. Steve has worked in
20 countries, and his product, called Steven Black's INTL Toolkit, has been sold in almost forty countries.
These days he has taken a keen interest in object-oriented Design Patterns, which is an excellent way to convey OO experience.
This is Steve's second presentation for the Montreal Fox User Group. His first, on a bitterly cold night back in early 1995, was all about using GENSCRNX. This time, the session will be all about creating flexible software in Visual FoxPro, and he'll make extensive use of Design Patterns to illustrate these ideas.
Since Steve is an Anglo from Quebec city, the session will be in both French and English, with the French
parts being as loud or louder than the English parts.
