I've got a couple of bitmaps that were created in Corel. They look nice there, but when put on a form in VFP 5.0, they do not have the same appearance. VFP seems to create solid layers of colors which is not the desired effect. Do I need to have a 3rd party graphics lib to display fine bitmaps on a VFP form?

I think the correct term might be something like gradient shading. As dark blue turns lighter and lighter until it is white. The bitmap shows with solid bands of color rather than slight changes in color across the bitmap.
