Interesting idea. I've always found the aspect that views can only be taken offline by one user at a time very limiting. I never thought of a multiple DBC approach. How many users were involved in your past experience and did you ever run into problems maintaining multiple DBC's? TIA

I would start by making sure that you can update the views on line. Make sure each table you're using has a primary key and that you've set that key in the view definition.
