A VFP 5 Application is currently in production.

Over time, features will be added to the application. Therefore, I currently have a copy of the application for development purposes. Once a feature is added and tested in the development version, I will take the production copy off-line and apply the appropriate changes to it.

What is the best way to track changes? Would Visual SourceSafe be of any help? Is it possible to automate the updates from the development version to the production version at a given time?

Here's a list of components which may require changes:
- add tables in database
- add referential integrity for new tables
- new forms
- new reports
- new views

At this point in time, I don't foresee changing existing tables or classes...however, I would like to find a solution that allows me to track these types of changes as well.

Thanks for your help...
