Jose,

I'm not really sure that the fact that the last problem occured with a Hebrew Windows is really related to the fact that it is Hebrew per se. The user before that sounded Indian or Pakastani. I never got his phone number so I can't call him back to know for sure. The first problem that was reported I only know that it was a "foreign" Windows but I don't know which. Maybe I'll just wait and see what happens next and start getting more information when anybody calls with the same problem.

Thanks again for the help. If you ever have the time or the inclination to download the program and try it on French Windows (and who know maybe it is an application that you can use), you can get it in the "Download Evaluation Copy" section of my WEB site at http://www.hardin-soft.com.

If you ever do download it, let me know what happens.

Ed

>>None of the three users that have reported this problem have mentioned this "Warning..." box only the fact that it freezes their machine. The last user to report the problem has Hebrew Windows 98. It seems that my English VFP 6.0 exe is trying to run a Windows .dll without checking the version and running into problems with the non-english version. The very first form that is opening when the machine freezes is a non-read form. It is just a form with text strings and the machine freezes when only the frame around the form is first drawn and before the text so, in effect, an empty box is showing where the form will eventually be filled out.
>>
>>The trouble shooting problem, of course, is how would you know what VFP is trying to read at this point. Especially since it freezes without any error boxes.

>Ed, I am short here, since I am not using 6.0 yet. I could have offered support for a French install, but Hebrew, no. Now there are several people that could help with Hebrew. I am pretty sure they would chime in if you posted a message with the "Hebrew" keyword in it.
