Servername should be the NetBIOS name of the machine sharing the resource.

\\NetBIOS machine name\share name\rest of path

eg \\Ed98\JazDrive\WIP\MyProjectDir

would be the share JazDrive on my Win98 workstation whose name is Ed98.
