Thank you very much for replying. The real problem is that the form is not closing several data tables at the end. I do not have access to the source code to the form. I can only get to a subclass of it. I have figured out how and where to close the additional tables, but I can find no way to close the data session itself. I assume, as you do, that a stray object is keeping it from closing, but the levels of calls and so forth it the module have made it very hard to find out what object or objects are not closed.

Oh well. I have accomplished the important part, which was closing the open tables. I can live with the unknown() session left behind.
