Use the inverse of the equation and stick with multiplication. I try to avoid division at all costs unless I'm willing to stick code in checking all vars for 0. You know, n = 1/100 = n *.01

>When a calculation like 12/0 is done VFP don't give error message. Old version of fox usually give error message that we can trap. In VFP we try with numeric fiels or double and the field is allways replace with ************ and no error is given.
