>I use foxpro 2.0 for dos. I have a couple of large screens that I want to make some changes to, but when I generate the new code I get this error: Insufficient memory line #xxxx Press any key to cleanup and exit. Is this because I have reached the maximum size for a screen SPR file?

It rather looks as genscrn has run out of memory. In fp2, AFAIK, the limit was 64K per source file, and the error should be different. Maybe genscrn is using too many variables or too large arrays for what you're telling it to do. Couldn't you just move a group of fields into a smaller modal screen and call it from a single button in the original screen. I've done that in FPD2.6, and it looked quite nice - and, besides, the form was easier to look at.
