I had two similar application written in Clipper 5.2(DOS) and Vfp (Win).

Actually, my system is running on Novell environment with the DOS 6.22 and the clipper 5.2 written application. It is running fine until I change the OS to Win95 and the application to one written using Vfp 5a.

The problem with my vfp 5a written application is that it processed data file very slow, from initially of 5 minutes to 2 hours plus.
I had even patch the win95 with patches just in case it is due to
memory leaks. Now, even changing the application back to the one written using clipper 5.2 on win95 still give the same problem, it
run fine and fast for the first few data files, after that, it just slow down to 2 hours plus for each data files it process.

When I run the same data files on my NT workstation using the Vfp 5a written application or clipper 5.2 written application, it just run fine and fast. Please advise or comments on the possible cause of it. Thank you.
