I've been experiencing the same problems you encountered with operating system freezing after printing a report. Did you ever establish the reason why the operating system would hang or was a solution ever found?

My application is running on approximately 100 computers with only a very small percentage locking up. It appears to be only on computers which are networked (either peer to peer running Win 95/98 OR Win 95/98 workstation with Win NT network).

I've reviewed many of the doc's regarding the HP concerns and reviewed all the notes on UT, nothing concrete! To-date I'm still not certain it relates to HP drivers but I'll keep an open mind.

The comments about creating a log file sounds great except that when the OS locks the log file wouldn't be saved.

On the handful of computers where the lockup occurs it always happens after printing and then when selecting a menu item. I don't believe it relates to a call to a form since sometimes the lock occurs just as the menu is selected.

Appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.
