A couple of other bits of strangeness on this problem

If we build the VB60 dll and call the method that has the problem CreateObjcet for the VFP dll it works fine. So the problem is specific to VB60 dll development environment.

We have tried creating a new VB60 standard exe project with the only code being the createoject for the VFP dll. It fails, so it cannot be the VB project files for the VB dll.
