Hi, Nancy,
We ended up deleting my NT user profile. At least for now I'm ok...but what a price. This was actually the 2nd go-around with this. The 1st time we also deleted the profile...but the problem came back a couple of days later. My boss suspects it's an interaction between VFP 5.0a and FPW 2.6....I don't know, I'm not convinced. I don't believe it's a virus since we use Innoculan and it's up-to-date.

I didn't get a chance to try anything with the config.fpw, but I will next time... I have no reason to believe it won't happen again. :(

...So are you really a Valley Girl? Or is it all this Pixie Dust you play with?

Rick

>Yesterday my VFP 5.0a started GPFing on start-up on my W98 machine. Started after an application test crash caused a GPF. Long story made short, I recreated my CONFIG.FPW from scratch and all was fine. Oddly, I could start up VFP 6 just fine.
