Marcus: I've heard really good things from developers about using IBM ViaVoice but I have no personal experience with it. Microsoft has an voice ActiveX (you can see it mentioned if you look at the Duwamish Books sample app at MSDN) that, I think, can "read" text and recite it. It's free and designed for VB so maybe it might just work in VFP.
>I need to add voice capablilities to my application. Not dicatation, but pretty simple one or two word commands. It would be mostly recording numbers (1-15) and should be able to 'speak' the number back to confirm input. I have done this before with Verbex, but hoping for something a little more widespread. Any experience out there with this sort of thing. Maybe Dragon, IBM, ???? Thanks for any feedback.
