I am working on a Dell PC under Windows NT with VFP 6.
My main network environment is a Windows NT server. I am
now beginning to access data from a sister company that
uses Sun/UNIX with Oracle 8 as their database.

What is the best way to set up a generic connection so
that I do not need to install ODBC drivers on each users
workstation? Can anyone give me the specific code
that can be used to do it? I suspect it is done with
a SQLCONNECTSTRING() but I am having trouble configuring
it properly. Guess that would be considered a DSNless
connection - right?

Is that the approach or do I set up a system DSN?
