With editboxes, its a different story. Just a matter of taste I suppose, but I find the modified behavior makes most users happier, especially on a high volume data entry app.
I guess this is another place where we all have our opinions on things. Our apps should look and act like other Windows apps. Changing this behavior makes the app work differently.
