>I need to add voice capablilities to my application. Not dicatation, but pretty simple one or two word commands. It would be mostly recording numbers (1-15) and should be able to 'speak' the number back to confirm input. I have done this before with Verbex, but hoping for something a little more widespread. Any experience out there with this sort of thing. Maybe Dragon, IBM, ???? Thanks for any feedback.

I've used both of these products in a business situation with pretty much the same effect for both. The recognition is good but only in a controlled office environment. In other words, the room has to be very quiet and the users hate having to deal with turning the recognition on/off when they talk with their co-workers or phone or whatever. For limited situations, it's a nice addition to your program. It's just finding that situation that is the trick.
As a side note, I love it for programming because I can just tell the Foxpro IDE to "If Then" or "Do Case" and it automatically 'types' the whole structure for me and I just have to fill in the blanks, so to speak.
