Some of you might remember that I posted a note on the discipline of Extreme Programming which broke software development into 4 simple steps:

Listen, Write Code, Test, and Refactor....anything else is waste.

This discipline is attracting a lot of attention from serious people and stages and metrics are being clearly defined. The guys who started this are some of the leading lights in patterns and anti-patterns work.
