Well, Bob, that's what I am trying to determine :-)

When I stated "straight port" I meant functional port. What I am looking for is compromise guidelines that have worked for people between "damn the torpedoes" and move the thing unchanged to VFP or complete re-engineer from use cases or user stories. I won't do the first and I may not have time to do the latter.
