you are absolutely right, the persons who push hardest for the "lastest and greatest" GUI will be the first to complain about the speed of there new apps.

And yes these applications were originally written in foxpro dos and clipper, they ran alot faster. the overhead that exists now did not exist then.

what can you say, yes there is a bunch of good features in VFP6.0 but lets not forget about the necesseties of a good app...
